DMD ECO WORLD is the winner of the online voting, which took place on the ESGnews.bg website in the period May 15 – June 15. This year the theme was recycling and 75.88% of the site’s readers voted for the company, which produces compostable alternatives to replace plastics.
DMD ECO WORLD products are 100% climate neutral, and during their production a small amount of CO2 is generated, equivalent to the production of the raw material from vegetable starches. The advantage of these materials is great – from the huge reduction of CO2 released into the environment, to their return at the end of their life or their use in nature, turning into biogas and biofertilizer. This principle meets the strict criteria for a circular economy.
Besides reducing waste by 30%, compostable packaging is the best solution in organic waste management. This is the most natural, sustainable and economical process for treating the waste we produce in the kitchen or garden.
