The “ESG AWARDS” contest is organized by the first specialized media for promoting ESG in Bulgaria ESGnews.bg, owned by Brand Media Bulgaria and part of the Economic.bg group. The platform actively builds the best corporate examples and the adoption of sustainable practices that are already standard in the EU and other European countries. By organizing this contest, ESGnews.bg aims to create a bridge between global ESG standards and Bulgarian corporations and to promote sustainable development by encouraging and distinguishing sustainable corporate behavior in Bulgaria.

Organizations from all fields of activity that are registered in the Republic of Bulgaria – commercial companies, non-governmental organizations, educational institutions, etc. – can participate in the competition. Each participant can register only once on the contest website, and participation is completely free. Entrants are not allowed to correct the entry form in their next submission. The application period expires on 31.05.24.

Winners will be distinguished in four main categories: “Sustainable Strategy”, “Sustainable Leader”, “Sustainable Investor”, “Sustainable Supply Chain Management”.

Strategic partners of the contest are the Faculty of Economics and ESG Lab of the Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski and the UN Global Compact Network Bulgaria.
