After the launch of the application for the ESG AWARDS 2026, it is the turn of one of the most emotional and awaited categories – the readers’ award on ESGnews.bg’s website. It is special because it is not awarded by a jury, but is chosen directly by you – our audience.
This year’s theme is: “Best practices for energy efficiency and renewable energy”. It is aimed at companies that implement innovations to reduce energy consumption or switch to green energy.
Energy efficiency and renewable energy are the basis of sustainable development. They not only reduce the carbon footprint and energy costs, but also give impetus to innovation and create a cleaner environment for future generations. Companies that invest in energy-efficient technologies and switch to renewable energy sources are demonstrating that sustainability is a strategic choice that benefits both business and society.
I would be happy to showcase my most visible and significant energy efficiency practices. The deadline for submitting applications is November 30, 2025.
How can you join the competition?
To be part of the companies that our audience can vote for, you must answer briefly (up to 2000 characters) to the following question:
“What are your company’s most successful practices and initiatives to increase energy efficiency and/or switch to renewable energy sources?”.
You can send your response with a request to participate in the survey by November 30, 2025 to [email protected].
After the application is submitted, all approved nominations will be published on ESGnews.bg, where readers will be able to vote for their favorite from January 1 to 31, 2026. The winner will be announced during the official ESG AWARDS 2026 ceremony, which will be held on February 17, 2026 at the Hilton Sofia Hotel.
